This scaffold erected in Horley town centre required multiple levels, with various steps in the external facade. There were also multiple balconies at the differing levels to which the external scaffold provided edge protection.
The scaffold was fully sheeted with a protective fan along the front elevation to protect the public road and footpath from falling material.
The apartments had a variety of external finishes including brickwork, render and cladding meaning access to multiple lifts was an important requirement, while ensuring the tie pattern didn’t prevent the external envelope of the building from being efficiently completed.
