• Norwegian Air came to us for assistance with an unusual requirement which needed sorting in a very short time frame. One of their planes was damaged while on the ground when it was accidently struck by another vehicle, piercing the external skin of the plane. High winds from the runway and heavy rain meant that the area of repair needed to be enclosed and weather protected while the works were carried out. The repair needed to be carried out immediately in order to get the plane back in use as soon as possible.

  We assisted by erecting a support structure either side of the plane, stabilised by kentledge, to which sheeting was suspended from enclosing the working area. We were able to design and erect the structure within 24 hours of receiving the initial call, assisting Norwegian Air to get the plane back into flight days later.
